Rite Aid

There are a few different deals you can do at Rite Aid depending on what you need/want. So check out Dealseekingmom.com and then under drugstores and Rite Aid to see all the deals.

Transaction #1:

Nivea Lip Care $2.99
Use $1/1 from 8/30 RP

Aveeno Shampoo/conditioner
20% off making them 5.99 each
Buy 4
Use (4) $2/1 Adperk coupons
Use (4) $2/1 Manufacture coupons (aveeno.com)

Use $5/25 (coupons.com)

Pay $4.95
Submit for $8 in SCRs ($7 for Aveeno and $1 for Nivea lip care)

In case anyone wanted to know this will take me over the $100 for the Fall promotion-spend $100 get a $20 gift card to Rite Aid. In the end I will have spent no more than $20. This means that I got everything from the September posts and in this post for FREE plus made money on all of them. I love Rite Aid!

Walgreens Sep 28-Oct 3

I am taking this list right from Pinching your Pennies because I sat for an hour trying to figure something out only to look at their blog and find something that worked better, so here it is:

This is week is a little tricky so remember these rules: 1) You can’t use a Register Reward to pay for an item from the same company or another register reward wont print. 2) You can’t use more coupons then items, so when you plan on using a register reward and a coupon on 1 item put in a cheap filler.

Transaction #1
Buy: Oral-B Advantage 1-2-3 Toothbrush (P&G) $2.99
And Robitussin 2pk (Wyeth) $2.49
Use: Oral B Advantage 1-2-3 Toothbrush .75/1 in P&G 9/27
Pay: $4.74 + tax
Get: $5.50 in register rewards ($3 from Oral-B, $2.50 from Robitussin)

Transaction #2
Buy: Vaseline Sheer infusion Lotion (Uilever) $6.99
And Halls Refresh Sugar Free (Cadbury Adams) $1
And $0.01 filler if using $1 halls coupon
And a total of 2 fillers because you cant have more couopns/RR then items
Use: $1.50/1 here
And Halls $1/1 single bag Halls refresh single bag (11/7/09) SS- 9/27/09)
Use RR: $5.50 from transaction #1
Pay: filler item price + tax
Get: $8 in Register Rewards ($7 from Vaseline, $1 from Halls)

Transaction #3
Buy: Emergen-C 2pk Booster (alcer): $3.49
And Gillette Fusion MVP Manual or Power Razor system (P&G) $8.99
And 1 Filler
Use: Gillette Fusion Razor, any $4/1 (10-31-09) PG-9/27
Use RR: $8 from transaction #2
Pay: $0.48 + tax
Get: $9.50 in Register Rewards ($6 from Gillette, $3.50 from Emergen-C)

Transaction #4
Buy: Dentex Dental Care, floss 55yrds, or 35 pk floss picks (dentex)$2.00
And Chapstick Fresh Effects (Wyeth) $2.99
Use: $1/1 Floss picks HERE
Use RR: $3.50 from Transaction #3 (Splurge, use that $6 RR from transaction #3 on something else you need or save it for next weeks. Pat yourself on the back you just made $6!)
Pay: $0.49 + tax
Get: $5 in register rewards ($2 from Dentex, $3 from Chapstick)

Then start back at Transaction #1 and repeat! Most Walgreens limit RR items to 1 per day per customer so I go back everyday and do the transactions above!

Total Out of Pocket: $5.68 + tax and you still leave with $11 in Register rewards!!

Albertsons

So I have to be honest and say that I am having a hard time with Albertson's lately. Mostly because we are trying to eat better and it seems that all their good deals are for things we don't eat anymore like cookies and sugary cereals. But someone on another blog found here mentioned that she got Jet Dry (there is a link to the coupon in her post) and ended up getting a catalina as well, so I will probably be doing the following:

Transaction #1:
Buy 3 Jet Dry $3.49
Use 3 $.75/1 coupons
Use 3 doublers
Use $5 catalina from Campbells deal (we wanted to try the select harvest tomato)
Total OOP: $.49
Get 3 catalinas for $1.25 ONYV= $3.75

I will probably do the above twice and then use the $3.75 to pay for the second transaction. So in the end I will pay $2.23 for 6 Jet Dry's and have $3.75 to use next week. (let us cross our fingers that something good will go on sale like green beans, or something that isn't kraft or kellogg!)

If you don't want to do what I am doing (which is probably going to be most of you!) check out Krazy Coupon Lady's list that she has going here.

Update on Walgreens

So I ended up buying esencia shampoo because it was Buy One Get One Free and they had a Mail in Rebate form on them. Which means I get both for free! So then I only ended up with $4.50 in RRs for next week, but hey FREE SHAMPOO! (Also both of my bottles had it but it is only one per household so the first person who reads this and emails me (or comments) and they need one (a mail in rebate) will get it.

Walgreens September 20-26

I will probably end up getting the following:

Roots of Nature $6
Get $6 RR
FREE

Thermacare Heat wrap $2.49
Use $1/1 coupon here
Get $2.49 RR
$1 moneymaker

Oral-B Indicator Toothbrush, 2/$4
Use BOGO Oral-B Indicator Manual Toothbrush (RP 8/23/09)
Get $2 RR
FREE

Children’s Benadryl, $4.99
$1/1 Benadryl Children’s Allergy Product, exp. 12-31-09 (RP 8/23/09)
$1/1 Benadryl Children’s Allergy Product, exp. 11-2-09 (SS 8/2/09)
$1/1 Bendaryl Walgreens coupon (Healthy Savings Booklet)
Get $5 in RR
$.98 for both!

Tylenol Cold, $5.99
$2/1 Tylenol Cold here
$1/1 Tylenol Walgreens Coupon (Healthy Savings Booklet)
Get $5 RR
$0.49 each!

So I will probably do the following transactions:

Transaction #1:
Children's Benadryl $5.98 OR Tylenol (haven't decided what I need most)
Thermacare Heat Wrap $1.49
2 filler items (that way I can use RR's to pay for the purchase, hopefully packets that are 8 cents!)
Use a $5 RR from last week and a $2 RR from last week
Pay 63 cents plus tax
Get $5 RR and $2.49 RR

Transaction #2:
Roots of Nature $6
Oral B Toothbrush $2
Use $5 RR from transaction #1 and $3 RR from last week
Pay tax
Get $6 RR and $2 RR

So I will end this week with $.49 more in RR's than I started with making $10.49 for next week. (Last week I did more transactions and only ended up with $10 in RR, BUT I did get a ton of free stuff!)

Fred Meyer

This is what I will be getting at Fred Meyer:

3 of the Foster Farms Whole Fryer chickens (at 69 cents a pound I just can't resist, not totally organic I know, but pretty close! Last time I had one of these I just put it in the crock pot with some EVOO and seasoning. Then it feed the family for 3-4 days. Tasted great on a salad and wrapped in a tortilla. Also we were able to make our own chicken broth with the bones. So I say really good deal! )

Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Pasta or Smart taste $1
Use $1/2
bottom line= 50 cents (Same price at Albertson's IF you use a doubler)

Also the ad seemed to hint that there were other really good deals, so it might be worth it to wander the store and see what you can see. If you get a good deal comment to let us all know!

Rite Aid More September 20-26th

Other deals that I took part in at Rite Aid this week are as follows:

Huggies wipes 2/$5
Used (2) $2/1 any Huggies diaper product (I think I printed it from coupon.com if it isn't showing up comment and I will find it!)
Qualify for SCR of $1
Bottom line=FREE!

Proantiox
Used $3/1 Adperk coupon
Qualify for SCR of $6.99
Bottom line=$3 moneymaker!

Monday, September 21, 2009

Rite aid deal!!

I did the diaper deal and it worked like a charm!! ( well Eric actually did we don't have a Rite aid in Idaho and he was in Utah so he had his 1st real coupon experience, It was funny to hear him talk about that a great deal it was)!! This is how we did it!!

1st Transaction
3- Huggies Pure and Natural = $35.97
1- $5 off $20 purchase
3- $3 0ff Pure and Natural
3- $2 off Rite aid coupons
Total was $15.97

Plus Rite Aid has a promo going when you spend $50 you get $10 back
So bottom line is=
$3.94 for 6 packs for diapers
That is about .66 a pack!!
AWESOME DEAL!!

Rite Aid Diaper Deal coming up next week!

Okay so next week Rite Aid will have their Huggies Jumbo pack diapers on sale 3 for $33, to get these for $1 go to coupons.com and print the $3/1 off Pure and Natural. Then go to Riteaid.com and participate in the Adperk campaign where you should be able to print 3 copies of the $2/1 on Huggies brand product (you may want to print more than 3 just in case!) You can also print a $5/$20 if you watch enough videos, or just go to coupons.com and print a $5/$25. So here is what your transaction will look like:

3 Huggies Pure and Natural=$33
Use $5 off coupon
Use (3) $3/1 coupon
Use (3) $2/1 coupon
Pay $13
Qualify for SCR #4 of $10

Also starting this week (9/13) Rite Aid is doing a promo of spend $25 get $5, spend $50 get $10 and spend $100 get $20. These totals are BEFORE coupons! So if you do this deal next week and the Johnson and Johnson deal this week you will be at $50 already and you have only paid $27.99 PLUS you will have qualified for SCRs totaling $25. In other words you would have spent $2.99 and qualified for $35 dollars in SCRs and the promo! I have to say that I am lovin Rite Aid this month!

Also for all of you out there who buy organic/natural food it is rumored that you can get a magazine printed by Fred Meyer in their organic area for FREE and it is suppose to have some really nice coupons in it! I am pretty excited about it!

Out of town

I am so sorry that I have slacked a little this week, okay a ton, but I am getting ready for a trip to Utah and haven't been focusing too much on coupons and deals, so check the blog list on the right to see what is going on at Walgreens, Rite Aid, Albertson's and the like. I hope everyone has a wonderful labor day weekend!
