I still haven't decided on Albertson's so go here to see some really good deals and comment and let me know what you got, maybe it will help me with my decisions!

Taking the week off
I am sorry to announce that I am taking the week off. Why one would ask and here are the reasons:
1. I feel like the deals just aren't amazing enough for me to worry about going and getting stuff (though I have some RR's to use at Walgreen's so I may have to think about it at some point!)
2. We are sort of in the middle of a family crisis. Sarah's allergy tests came back with her being allergic to dairy, eggs and wheat, can anybody says Celiac's Disease. So we will probably be doing more testing and I just don't feel like stockpiling stuff we won't be able to use.
3. I have way too much going on this week!
So here is what I have decided that I will purchase
Fred Meyers
Organic carrots 5 for $5
Organic fuji apples 98 cents a lb
5 lb bag of Mandarins for $4.77
Del Monte Vegetables with in ad coupon of 2/$1 plus stacked with manufacture coupon of $1/5 (from September I think!)
Any meat with coupons on it
Albertson's
Chicken boneless skinless breats for $1.77/lb (krazy coupon lady has a preview!)
Any meat with coupons on it

I will probably just use my RR's to get some Vitamin D, you always need some!

Albertsons
So I have to be honest and say that I am having a hard time with Albertson's lately. Mostly because we are trying to eat better and it seems that all their good deals are for things we don't eat anymore like cookies and sugary cereals. But someone on another blog found here mentioned that she got Jet Dry (there is a link to the coupon in her post) and ended up getting a catalina as well, so I will probably be doing the following:
Transaction #1:
Buy 3 Jet Dry $3.49
Use 3 $.75/1 coupons
Use 3 doublers
Use $5 catalina from Campbells deal (we wanted to try the select harvest tomato)
Total OOP: $.49
Get 3 catalinas for $1.25 ONYV= $3.75
I will probably do the above twice and then use the $3.75 to pay for the second transaction. So in the end I will pay $2.23 for 6 Jet Dry's and have $3.75 to use next week. (let us cross our fingers that something good will go on sale like green beans, or something that isn't kraft or kellogg!)

Someone just found Dreyer's Ice Cream at Albertson's 2 for $5 and she has a coupon from the nestle coupon booklet (I don't have this which is a major bummer!) which makes for $3 out of pocket AND she got a $4 catalina for her next visit. Albertson's August 19-25
It seems that people in the shopping world are forgetting a few things with this weeks Albertson's ad. So instead of being disappointed that there really is just the General Mills buy $20 get $5 remember that the Nature Valley Granola bars also have a catalina and so do the Betty Crocker fruit snacks.
So here are a few ideas:

Okay so I don't know how much money exactly that I have saved, but I have my totals of out of pocket and Catalina money from Albertson's with a list off all I got so here we go!

Albertson's Skippy Natural Peanut Butter
Sorry there will probably be a ton of posts on Albertson's while I try and wrap my head around all of the good deals going on. Also some of these deals end on the 9th so you better hurry in this week.
Skippy NATURAL Peanut Butter (has to be natural!)
Buy 16 at the price of 2/$4
Use 8 $1/2 (OR 5 and you just don't get to use the 3 doubles listed at the end)
Use 3 doubles (Customer Service should have extra of the week's ads, but please just take one each time you need doubles!)
Total out of pocket=$21 if you have all of the regular coupons and use doubles OR $24
Total back in Catalinas=$23
That is right I made $2 more dollars at Albertson's today and got a year supply of Peanut Butter!

Albertson's July 29th-August 4th in depth!
Okay so here are a few scenarios for you all to try out!
Dove catalina spend $30 get $15 ONV (CHANGED and UPDATED!!!)
Beauty catalina Spend $30 get $12 ONV
I found a way to combine the two using 2 of yesterday's papers and getting you a total of $27 back ONV (Thanks to Kendra for helping me see the light on this one!)
Buy the following:
7 dove shampoo or conditioner
Total is $34.93
Use 7 $1/1 coupons (dove.com has 1 that you can print twice so use three computers to print 6 and Sunday's paper has one, you could also buy a ton of Sunday papers if you wanted too!)
2 Albertson's double coupons =$1 each
Total out of pocket =$25.93
Total back ONV = $27
YOU MADE MONEY! This equals free groceries!
Ragu deal-who wants a year supply of Ragu? Here is how you can get it for super cheap! Thanks again to Kendra for the heads up!

Since the coupon doesn't have a limit on how many you can print, you can keep doing this until you have as many as you need! Just leave some for all of us! (though if there isn't any left in the store, get a rain check!)

Buy 8 cereals using $1.50/2 coupons and $1/2 You need 3 $1.5/2 so you will need to print from two computers. The $1/2 are in Sunday's paper. Then you can buy 3 blueberry muffin pop tarts and 2 other flavored pop tarts and use coupons from Sunday's paper and at poptarts.com for a 55 cent coupon. Your total will be $7.40 and you will qualify for the $10 Kellogg rebate.
Also don't forget to use your $1 off $10 of produce!
