Way Excited about Fred Meyer!

I am way excited about the Fred Meyer deals this week and not because there are amazing food deals, no but because I can get a Mr. and a Mrs. Potato Head for $1.15 each (may be cheaper)! Oh my is that exciting! So here is my list and if you want information on other deals just check out The Coupon Project

18 count eggs $1.50 (limit 4) in ad coupon (I have an extra ad so if you need it comment!)
Broccoli $.68/lb
Private Selection boneless half ham $2.99 (I have been wanting some ham and this is the best deal I can see, I will probably freeze half of it for later)

Now for the non food items:
Nature Bounty vitamins B1G1 Free (I am pretty sure there were coupons for these in last weeks Sunday paper, remember you can use 2 coupons!)
Layering tees and everyday tees and camis are all B1G1 (I kind of need these!)

Use 10% off coupon from in ad (expires on WED) (they may take only $.69 OR $1.38 it will depend on the checker!)

Taking the week off

I am sorry to announce that I am taking the week off. Why one would ask and here are the reasons:
1. I feel like the deals just aren't amazing enough for me to worry about going and getting stuff (though I have some RR's to use at Walgreen's so I may have to think about it at some point!)
2. We are sort of in the middle of a family crisis. Sarah's allergy tests came back with her being allergic to dairy, eggs and wheat, can anybody says Celiac's Disease. So we will probably be doing more testing and I just don't feel like stockpiling stuff we won't be able to use.
3. I have way too much going on this week!

I will probably just use my RR's to get some Vitamin D, you always need some!

There are some good things going on at Fred Meyer this week. If you don't get the Sunday paper run today and get the ad so that you can get all the good coupons! Here is what I am looking to get:

Foster Farm Whole Chicken $.69 a lb (perfect for boiling and canning, or roasting like a turkey)

1/2 Gallon of milk or orange juice 10 for $10 and limit 10 with in ad coupon (both of which you can freeze, and only a good deal if cheaper to get two than a gallon. Also you don't have to get 10.)

Snuggle and All detergent $2.99 with in ad coupon limit 2
Combine with the $3/1 Snuggle coupon (yep you get it for FREE!) and the $1/1 All coupon both from the RP 10/4 insert

Kashi is 40% off using in ad coupon (I got a number of $1.50/1 coupons for cereal we will see if it is a good deal or not)

Renu trial size $1.99 (I just found this out and I found some $2/1 printables so I will probably get a few!)

Also Fred Meyer has Buy One Get One Free on some DVDs, I found Little Women, Persuasion, Annie, and Driving Miss. Daisy. They also had Sleepless in Seattle, so if you are looking for Christmas presents or birthday these are a great buy. Each DVD mentioned was $9.99, so I got four DVDs for $19.98.

This is what I will be getting at Fred Meyer:

3 of the Foster Farms Whole Fryer chickens (at 69 cents a pound I just can't resist, not totally organic I know, but pretty close! Last time I had one of these I just put it in the crock pot with some EVOO and seasoning. Then it feed the family for 3-4 days. Tasted great on a salad and wrapped in a tortilla. Also we were able to make our own chicken broth with the bones. So I say really good deal! )

Also for all of you out there who buy organic/natural food it is rumored that you can get a magazine printed by Fred Meyer in their organic area for FREE and it is suppose to have some really nice coupons in it! I am pretty excited about it!

Fred Meyer has grapes for 88 cents a pound this week! I hear that these are also great frozen.

Also Fred Meyer also has a few coupons out there that are kind of fun, like 20% of today's arts and craft prices. Last time they had these I got a pack of 50 card bases and envelopes for $2.74 (these are usually like 4-5 dollars!)
